CURRENT ACTIVITIES OF JSC KIEP ON THE EXTENSION OF POWER UNIT NO. 3 AT THE KHMELNYTSKY NPP

According to the updated schedule for the construction of power unit No. 3 of the Khmelnytsky NPP approved by the General Director of the SE "Atomprojectengineering" NAEK "Energoatom", JSC KIEP is tasked with performing the following works:

§  Completion of the actualization of the instrumental survey of the existing building structures and participation in obtaining the expert opinion of the State Nuclear Regulatory Commitee of Ukraine regarding the confirmation of the possibility of their use for the completion of the power unit.

§  Development of a detailed design of repair and restoration works based on the survey results. Currently, the work is ongoing on the development of design and estimate documentation for repair and restoration works in the construction of the reactor compartment of power unit No. 3.

§  Preparation of tasks for complex engineering survey for the Project stage for power unit No. 3 of the Khmelnytsky NPP. At the end of June, the ToR for the performance of works were developed and sent to the SE API for approval.

§  Development of the drainage pumping station design for power unit No. 3 of the Khmelnytsky NPP.

§  Performance of verification calculations of the framework of the turbine compartment, deaerator stack and stack of electrical devices, taking into account repair and restoration works. At the end of June, the contract was signed and the collection of input data for the calculation is going on.

Execution of the site supervision of the preparatory works for the completion of power unit No. 3 by own forces (staff) of the SE "KhNPP".
