REGARDING CHANGES IN THE JSC KIEP MANAGEMENT
Based on the decision of the annual general meeting of the Joint-Stock Company "Kyiv Research and Design Institute "Energoproject" dated April 12, 2023, Yurii Anatoliyovych Sapozhnykov was elected as the Chairman of the JSC KIEP Board as of April 21, 2023.
Brief biographical data: Yurii Anatoliyovych Sapozhnykov was born in 1975 in Kyiv region. He has higher education upon graduation from the National Technical University of Ukraine "Kyiv Polytechnic Institute" in 1998, majoring in engineering and thermal physics, and Odessa National Polytechnic University as the Candidate of Sciences, majoring in "Thermal and nuclear power plants". Since 1998, he has been working at JSC KIEP starting with the position of an engineer.
The current Chairman of the Board, Iurii Volodymyrovych Malakhov, ceased his activities as the Chairman of the Board on April 20, 2023. Moreover, Oleksandr Anatoliyovych Okhrimenko was appointed as the Chief Engineer of JSC KIEP on April 11, 2023 due to termination of the previous chief engineer activities performed by Volodymyr Mykolayovych Chernavsky.
Brief biographical data: Oleksandr Anatoliyovych Okhrimenko was born in 1981 in Kyiv region. He has higher education upon graduation from the National Technical University of Ukraine "Kyiv Polytechnic Institute" in 2004, majoring in "Thermal Power Stations" and being qualified as a power engineer. Since 2004, he has been working at JSC KIEP, starting with the position of an engineer.
On April 19, 2023, there was a meeting of the JSC KIEP team with Iurii Volodymyrovych Malakhov, at which he informed of the changes in the JSC KIEP management structure. Mr. Malakhov also informed the team that the following technical managers were appointed at JSC KIEP to improve the efficiency of production activities and the management of engineering areas:
- Tetiana Yuryivna Baybuzenko – Technical Director;
- Andrii Oleksiiovych Lisovyi - Production Director;
- Oleksii Oleksandrovych Potravka - Deputy Chief Engineer for basic process systems;
- Voidenko Kostiantyn Mykhailovych - Deputy Chief Engineer for I&C and electrical systems;
- Oleksii Serhiyovych Prykhodko - Deputy Chief Engineer for architectural and construction solutions
The Institute is determined to restore the power infrastructure of Ukraine damaged due to armed invasion of the Russian Federation. The composition of the institute's staff provides for designing the power facilities of the highest level of complexity including NPP units, which Ukraine will definitely need to achieve the carbon-free generation of power.
